MVL-CT Proudly Presents: Is He Dead?
A comedy by Mark Twain. Adapted and updated by David Ives.

Played as a period piece set in the mid-19th century Paris.  A young painter, Jean-Francois Millet plans to marry his love interest, Marie Leroux, but is thwarted by Andre a picture dealer to whom Jean-Francois is indebted to.

In order to make his paintings more valuable Jean-Francois fakes his own death and disguises himself as a woman.  He then becomes a successful artist.  If only he could figure out how to come back to life and reclaim Marie.
